Sport training camps
From February 10 to May 2, 2021 the Syrian national badminton team came to Kazan for a training саmp
Trainings were held twice a day with the Russian national team coach Igor Nazarov and the best badminton players of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the end of the training camp significant progress was registered in physical, technical and tactical qualities of the athletes as well as in psycho-emotional stability.
The organizer of the tournament was Kazan International Institute for Cooperation with African and Middle Eastern Countries.
Сompetitions
The tournament brought together over 350 participants from 14 countries to Kazan.
One of the largest events organized by the Institute together with the Ak Bars Hockey Club was the Ice Hockey Tournament among Islamic countries and the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place from January 13 to 19, 2023.

Institute organized the I Summit of the Ice Hockey Association of Islamic Countries Kazan Summit Cup 2023 Islamic world - the future of ice hockey
Delegates from 14 countries, heads of hockey federations of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Morocco, Algeria, Lebanon, Iran, Turkey, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and representatives of the Ice Hockey Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan signed an agreement to establish the Ice Hockey Association of Islamic Countries and elect the presidium of the federation.
Nail Ulfatovich Maganov, president of the Tatarstan Ice Hockey Federation, was elected president of the International Association headquartered in Kazan.
Anvar Omorkanov, president of the Kyrgyzstan Ice Hockey Federation, was elected vice president for the Asian region,
Hamel Al-Qubaisi, president of the UAE Winter Sports Federation, was elected vice-president for the Middle East region,
Fisal Atef Hassan was elected executive director.
